This Week in #MyPeacein50 - Stretching Into Worthiness
Hi Friend,
Last week, we explored gentle movement as a way to disrupt harsh self-talk and create space for compassion.
This week, we’re going deeper — into stretching as an act of worthiness.
So many of us have been taught to tie our value to productivity. To believe we must earn rest, love, and care. But stretching — the act of expanding, reaching, and softening — can be a quiet rebellion against that story.
When we stretch with intention, we’re telling our bodies: You are worthy of this time. You are worthy of this care.
In this week’s blog, you’ll find:
· Why stretching is more than just a warm-up — it’s a reclaiming
· How stretching supports the nervous system and reduces stress
· A list of 5 micro-stretches to build worthiness into your day
· Simple affirmations to pair with your movement
· A 5-minute “Stretching Into Worthiness Flow” you can try today

This week’s practice:
Choose one stretch today — morning reach, shoulder rolls, neck release, forward fold, or legs-up-the-wall. Pair it with a phrase like “I am worthy of this moment” and notice what shifts.
No performance. Just permission.
With warmth,
Lisa
